Milk and modest sun exposure can stop the prostate cancer
Drinking milk and modest sun exposing of the body (sunshine preferable) can create a limitation in prostate
cancer cells abilities to invade the healthy neighborhoods.
This is a conclusion of a recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Evaluating test tubes using human prostate cancer cells lines, the study found that Vitamin D has a strong
effect on limitation activity of two enzymes called cathepsin and matrix metalloproteinase. When working over
the normal, these enzyme can cause the assault of prostate cancer on healthy cells of the body.
The study also concluded that Vitamin D works and by stimulating the plasminogen activators, which also are
relevant in halt of uncontrolled prostate cancer spreading mechanism.
Researchers have no conclusion yet if other vitamins and medicines may support the Vitamin D activity.
The study emphasizes that prostate cancer patients must know that high dose of Vitamin D should not be taken
without a medical prescription. At the same time, due of some side effects, such as increasing blood calcium
levels and kidney problems, a physician monitoring is mandatory.
Excepting vitamin pills, the best ways to get Vitamin D into the body are to drink milk and by modest sun exposure (sunshine preferable).
