People’s reasons for wanting hair removed are very different. Some people with hair growth disorders like hypertrichosis or hirsutism use hair removal procedures for medical reasons.   5. Tweezers
    Tweezers are good for isolated hairs and some facial areas. It is an inexpensive method of hair removal although good quality tweezers are needed.
    Results: Temporary, from 3 to 8 weeks.
  6. Waxing
    Waxing hair removal may be painful depending on a person’s toleration level. It is quick and inexpensive. Take care, some waxes can affect the skin.
    Results: From 3 to 6 weeks.
  7. Hair Inhibitors
    They are easy to use with any existing hair removal method (excluding depilatories). They reduce and even stop hair growth.
    Results: After 3 to 6 months, significant reduction in hair growth, in some cases, permanently.
  8. Electrolysis
    It can be painful. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, it could be expensive. In most cases this hair removal method is permanent. It is important to get professional treatment to avoid skin damage.
    Results: Permanently.
  9. Laser Treatment
