by pharmaceutical companies, lead by Johnson & Johnson.
In US is estimated that premature ejaculation condition effects
15 percent to 30 percent of male population sexual active.
Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday 24 May 2005 that this new drug,
its name is dapoxetine, has been under review by the Food and Drug
Administration for six months and Johnson & Johnson experts said that
dapoxetine will soon become the first drug approved for premature ejaculation
treatment.
The same Journal said that during the American Urological Association annual meeting in San Antonio
a major study presented concluded that dapoxetine could help men delay orgasm and companies
experts hope the new treatments will be a new revolution, as was Viagra, representing the next generation
of lifestyle drugs.
If Viagra has made sex possible for men suffering from impotence, a new drug
aims to make it last longer. Much longer...
